Golden City Bike Hostel
The Golden City Bike Hostel is a great place to stay. This full service hostel is only a few blocks off the route in this little town of 800 people. It features the following accomodations:

The town of Golden City is a quaint little place. It's close to Kansas in more ways than one but still has a lot of Missouri about it.
Cooky's restaurant is only a block away at 529 Main street. It's a great place to eat - make sure you get some of their famous pie and sign the cyclist log book. Actually, have two or three pieces of pie.
There is a library at the corner of Church and Main Streets where you can gain internet access. They can also contact the people who manage the hostel for you.
